{million dollar question}

It's the project that launched a thousand emails...

"Shan, where did you get the radiator grill that you used for your jewelry holder?! I've looked all over home depot and they have no idea what I'm talking about!"
In my hastiness as I was posting about the project, I accidentally told you Home Depot, but what I meant to say was Lowes- my bad! They're about $28 (a wee bit pricey) but so worth it!

The other question I get asked at least once a week is "What is the color of your craft room?"It's an Ace Hardware brand paint called "Uptown Girl"

So there you have it!

Have anymore questions? Email me! shans_design@yahoo.com

well thanks for telling us NOW! ha ha jokes. Actually, I tried Lowes and Home Depot and they all looked at me like I was a crazy person. THey thought it might be a seasonal thing. So I made do and added hooks instead to mine...
I'll still keep my eyes peeled though! (;

While you're answering all these great questions...have you ever thought about doing a quick-and-dirty advice/how-to for people who want to reupholster an old chair, ottoman, etc. but don't have the money to pay a professional? Just a thought...

I found one today AT HOME DEPOT!! Random I guess and it wasn't as cute as yours! I'll head to Lowes soon! I want to make one for my studio and the jewelry I complete before it gets shipped. DARLING idea!

Thanks for clarifying! I want to make one of these so badly, and after seeing all the comments from folks who couldn't find it, I was a little heartbroken. Okay, not really heartbroken, but definitely disappointed. I'm resolved to try again now, though! Thanks again!

Yep, after 4 trips to Lowes/Homedepot, I finally found the radiator grill. But then gave it up because it's too pricey for my near non-existent DIY budget. Boo for expensive supplies!

I also have made multiple trips to Lowes and Home Depot and still have not found it!! Im not too worried about the money because I will let you in on a little secret. Because I wanted to do this project so bad and could not find the grill I started web surfing for it and stumbled on web sites that sold it. Well low and behold these sites are wanting to sell a sheet to me for 200-400$!plus $100 or more in shipping fee. I about fell over in my seat, gasping for air! So needless to say I will be heading to Lowes today later on to take another long hard look!
