{new year, new resolutions}

Do you ever watch VH1? I do. It's become my morning tradition. I get up, make breakfast, sit on the sofa, and watch the top 10 music videos. I was sitting in my living room early this morning, when the Nickelback song "You're Never Gonna Be Alone" song came on, which of course, made me all teary eyed (I know, a Nickelback song?! Stupid hormones..). Anyway, it got me thinking about resolutions and my goals for this year.

So here is my list.

Love more, judge less.
Try (my darndest) not to feel envy, and instead feel proud of my own accomplishments and talents.
Challenge myself, and not fear failure.
Explore more.
Life my best life.

I think 2010 is going to be a great year *grin*

De clutter is one of mine! Maybe by the end of the year I'll get there!
Is there something else going on in 2010 for you? (grin)

Ok, so I must ask you. Do you have secret and wonderful thrift stores that you find things at? Ever since seeing your adorable Christmas frames with scrapbook paper and your cute cute magnet board I have been determined to make something like it. I've checked the D.I.'s several times but all I see are boring and plain frames. I may just need to keep looking, but was wondering if you have any suggestions. I think you make adorable things.

And fun that you went to high school with my husband. I guess it makes sense since I saw your blog through Jill Vance's.

Hi Shannon - I saw your Christmas card at McCall's house and thought it was so darling and a great idea for the calendar!

I just did a post about being completely organized ... kind of goes hand in hand with the de-clutter, which goes hand in hand with the de-stress too. Maybe this will be the year!

Love your list!

And thanks for being such a good friend to my little girl!!!

I saw you on Studio 5 and heard your blog.. and I love design blogs so I decided to check it out. I've just spent the last 2 hours reading your blog... I love it!!

I feel like we could be real life friends, we like all the same things.

I have a question, I noticed you have the same windows as me in the front of your house, do you have any ideas of how to add curtains to them? Ive lived in my house for 2 1/2 years and I want curtains!

You find the best stuff at DI! I try to go there weekly... (I have no life). I love it! Maybe I'll see you there one day.
