{pretty pumpkins}

seeing the mini pumpkin centerpiece and the gourd candy corn containers makes me want to throw an autumn themed dinner party! more ideas can be found here.

Also, remember this project?
Well, I'm happy to announce that it is going to be featured in this book!
I'm thrilled and so flattered that my li'l project was chosen to be part of something so neat!

And last, please remember to tune into Oprah this afternoon! One of my favorite bloggers Nie Nie is going to be on! Click here to see a clip of the show.
I cried as I watched this small clip. Her daily struggles have taught me to not take life's simple joys for granted.

Congrats on being published! That is so awesome! My hubby and I have been on a search for the glass for these, we are sticking to thrift shops to find them, still no luck but I'm sure I'll find something! :)

Stephanie's clip made me weep. I couldn't imagine not being able to hold Olivia... :(

I would be honored if you wanted to post it! If You miss style approve, then I feel good. The rocker I found at a estate sale for $15.00 and then had it slipcovered in white canvas. The crib I found on Craigs list but it is the one I have always wanted. Corsican is the brand. I designed nursery/kids/playrooms for 4 years here in Phoenix so it is fun to do my own. Talk to you soon baby is crying!

sooo, I know you gave directions somewhere to those awesome cement balls but I can't find them. Will you send me the link so I can make some? It is finally cool enough to spend time in our garden.

Just be sure you credit Mom with the cement balls idea! :)

don't worry bar- i gave momma the credit! my technique was a little different though in using glass balls. i think mom used a plastic mold (sp?) which is smart because you can use it over and over again, as opposed to breaking the glass to get to the cement ball!

i had to tell them what i thought of the project, how i was inspired, etc & i told them about how my mom had done it a few years ago & I loved the idea
