{Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya...Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama!}

A week from today I will be getting my tan on in Mexico!
The hubs and I have been looking forward to this vacation for a long, long time (especially since Utah weather is out of wack), and we can't wait to just relax without a care in the world! I apologize if it seems like I'm bragging! I'm only posting this so I can get some input from ya'll...okay, and to brag just a lil' bit. (Don't worry, I'll bring you back somethin' real nice!)
We're cruising to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, & Puerto Vallarta, and I'm wondering what the funnest things are to do down while we're there! We only have about 6-8 hours at each location (a different stop per day) so we can't do any over night stuff, but if you have any suggestions, let me know! We're not doing any of the ship excursions because they are way overpriced. I've looked on tripadvisor.com & we signed up for the Stone Island tour in Mazatlan to go snorkeling & boogie boarding, but we're not really sure what to do in Cabo or Puerto Vallarta.
So leave your comments and let me know what the best things to do are!
In fact...to make this even more fun for you guys, I'll buy a fun little gift (hecho en Mexico), and when I get home, I'll write down the name of each person who commented, put 'em in a bowl and draw a winner for a fantastic lil' prize!
P.S. Like my post title? I bet you have that song stuck in your head now too!

Okay...so I've been to Puerto Vallarta a few times. There's the canopy tours...... http://www.canopytours-vallarta.com/info/index.htm
Very fun. BUT you might have to get a rental car or arrange something to make sure you're back in time. I'm sure this company does something from the cruises. This is very fun. You go over a HUGE river...very crazy. You could also just go downtown and go shopping. Only order soda...No WATER unless bottled and NO ICE. I don't even drink the virgin margaritas because we get sick EVERY time. Good weight loss though. :) Oh..and there's one place you have to eat to get the experience of Mexico. The owner is great! I'll find out and let you know. Have a great time.

Ahh! I'm so jealous! You're going to have the best time! Snorkeling and boogie boarding sounds like a blast! Hmm...what else to do? I want that hecho en mexico prize! haha. I suggest doing lots of shopping and eating of course...I'll have to think of an original idea and get back to you! I can't wait to see your pics from the trip!

How fun. I have never been to Mexico (or anywhere really tropical for that matter) so I don't have any great advice--except for to take lots of pictures of everything you do!

Okay...the place is Mr. Senior Pepe's. I'm sure that if you asked people would know him. (locals) If I can find a number or directions I'll let you know. Have fun.

In puerto vallarta you must eat at los pallopos. I'm not to sure about that spelling. But it is a restaurant on the beach. There are some tables "indoors" as in walls but no roof. We ate in the sand. Tables with thached roofs. If you are there late enough have dinner so you can watch the sunset. It is so romantic and soooo beautiful. The food is very good but the atmosphere blows everything else away. It is one of the more upscale restuarant there so it is more gourmet. It cost us like $25 was all. I'm gonna have to email you a picture just to entice you.

My sisters and dad went to Cabo a couple of years ago they primarily laid out and went shopping at the local market. My dad bought this big wood carved elk there. That would be right up Andrew's alley!

That sounds so nice! I need a vacation. I went to Cabo and I think we went on a van ride in the mountains to some zip lines. It was really pretty. Have a great time!

This is Andy, Brittney's husband. The name of the restaurant in Puerto Vallarta is La Palapa. I give her an A for effort on the spelling, but she is 100% right on everything else. The food is great and the scene/experience is even better. I would highly recommend.

Oh my gosh! Have SOOOOOOOO much fun! I LOVE the picture you put up. GORGEOUS.

So my man went to Mexico on his mission and Puerto Vallarta was in his mission but the only thing he did for fun was preach the gospel. :) Maybe you could give that a try! Ha ha.

Oh and as for getting "Montezuma's Revenge". Soak it up sister. I had it both weeks when I was in Egypt and Israel and it seriously just added to the experience. Good times for all!

Anyway, have a BLAST!
