{monday moment}

Tonight after work I thought I'd run out to Hobby Lobby and buy some frames so I can finally put my wedding pictures up (almost a year later)! Even though the store is clear across the valley, I wanted to go there specifically because their frames are all 50% off, and I can't resist a bargain! Well, after walking around the entire store looking at everything, I ended up with a glass cutter, some bead supplies, and only 2 frames (they were the only ones I liked). Thank goodness the store was practically empty, because when I went to pay, I realized I had left my wallet sitting on my kitchen table. Good one Shan. I told the lady I was so sorry and that I'd come back tomorrow (I probably won't), and left with my tail between my legs. It didn't help that I switched the radio station over to country on the way home, right when the saddest song in the world was on (you know, the one about the soldier writing the letter home that says "if you're reading this..." *sniff, sniff*). About 10 seconds into the song, I was bawling, which was not a good thing since I couldn't see that well from all the moisture in my eyes, and I didn't have a licence with me. After the song was over, I decided enough was enough, switched stations, and got my groove on with my girl Beyonce.

I still need picture frames though, so if you know any places to look, let me know! I'll remember my wallet this time...

Doesn't grooven with Beyonce just make you feel so much better! Okay I know it's not too cheap. But, Pottery barn has some really nice frames. I am also a fan of IKEA for a more modern look. However while looking at frames keep some great spray paint in mind. It makes for a better trip. :) Good Luck!
Oh and get an ice cream cone if you go..YUM!

It took me about a year to put up our wedding pictures too. I still haven't filled the holes in the album after I stole all the pictures out of it for framing. Maybe next year.

Okay, so... that sucks! lol. But I have to say... I'm NOT a big fan of Hobby Lobby. I have gone there twice, and... eh, I wasn't impressed. I mean... if you go... with no expectations, then I guess it's okay, but if your looking for something particular (which was me, both times) then don't count on it being there. LOL. (I sound like a bummer) But thats how I feel.
Okay, so I don't know what kind of frames your looking for, but I was at Michaels the other day and they had some really cute chunky frames. And I also LOVE Rod Works. They have some really fun frames. Like I said... If you are going for like a chunky wood, distressed style then these are good places. For more fancy frames... hmm...Ooh, Target is always good. Kind of hit or miss though. OH OH, I just thought of another place. I'm not usually a huge Kohls fan (Everything is ALWAYS on sale... which to me... means, I'm STILL getting screwed because it might as well be that price ALL the time. When something is on sale.. I want to feel like I'm LITERALLY stealing it, because it's SO cheap) ANY WHO, they were having a a buy one get one free on all frames and home decor the other day when I was in there. I mean... Even if you find ONE frame you love, then you can splurge and do something cute and different on the other frame. (shrug) Thats what I would do anyway.
WOW< LONG COMMENT... LOL
I hope I gave you some suggestions. But remember I'm a cheap-o, so all of these places aren't "super fancy"...but then again.. You DID start at Hobby Lobby. LOL LOL JK
Love ya

ok, first things first. Remember being on the freeway, on one of our mom and daughter LA trips, and we both sheepishly looked at each other when we heard whatever dumb tearjerker song was on??and we both burst into sobbing laughter!! THAT was a great moment, haha I get so mad at myself when I am so manipulated by some dumb song!! also, I'm afraid to check "monitorlcd"!! haha there's something very foreign sounding ( or prank-ish) about it! porno site, viagra, foreign money scam....have you taken the bait yet? love you, mom
